Chelsea are reportedly in talks over the £62million transfer of Borussia Dortmund striker Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang as an alternative to Romelu Lukaku and Alvaro Morata.

The Gabon international has long been linked with a move to a bigger club this summer, with Paris Saint-Germain long looking the favourites, while the Chinese Super League also looked an option.

However, Aubameyang also has long-standing interest from the Premier League, with the likes of Liverpool and Manchester City previously rumoured to be his biggest admirers.

But with Chelsea’s need for a world class forward growing after losing out on Lukaku to Manchester United last week, Marca claim they’re now negotiating a deal to land Aubameyang.
