Zlatan Ibrahimovic could be back playing in Manchester United red next season, according to reports.

The Sweden forward, who is recovering with a knee injury, has apparently opened talks with his former club over a new contract.

Ibrahimovic is currently using the club’s Carrington training complex, as he continues his rehabilitation, and appears to be well on his way to full fitness.

As things stand the 35-year-old is a free agent, but Mourinho previously hinted he may have a place for him this season.

And MailOnline are reporting the Swedish star is on the verge of penning a new deal.
