Marco Verratti’s agent confirms “offers from Italy” but “you’d have to ask Paris Saint-Germain”.

The midfielder has never actually played in Serie A, having left Serie B outfit Pescara to join the Parisian side in 2012.

Juventus have been linked with the Azzurri star for some time, while Inter’s owners Suning Group are also thought to be keen.

“Suning can aspire to any player in the world, not just Marco,” Donato Di Campli said on TeleLombardia.

“There are a lot of teams interested in him, but you’d have to ask PSG.

“Will he stay in Paris for life? I can assure you no. I can confirm that Verratti has had offers from Italy, but I have no news at the moment.

“I can also confirm that Suning want to revolutionise the transfer market, but so far they haven’t spent well.”
